SBS6's So you wanna be a POPSTAR is a karaoke tv show. It was based on the successful New Zealand format, Popstars. In essence, it is a reality show where well-known people get a shot at singing their favourite pop song. They have to do so in front of an audience. A jury and some distinguished experts would be there to comment and rate their performances. The featured candidates were selected from a variety of professional areas. Among them were presenters, athletes, actors, and even the odd politician.

I had a great time collaborating with Light-H-Art's owner Henk-Jan van Beek. The design combined colour, materials, video, and light setup in such a way that it offered the grand RockStar feeling the network and producers were aiming for...
